Sameer Gehlot is the founder and driving force behind the DFL Group. Under his visionary leadership, multiple companies within the Group have collectively delivered nearly $2 billion in dividends to shareholders over the past decade. Sameer holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, and brings a strong foundation of technical expertise combined with strategic business acumen.

Executive Director & COO
Divyesh Shah serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the DFL Group. With more than 20 years of experience in building and scaling profitable businesses, he plays a pivotal role in executing the Group’s growth strategy. He currently leads key initiatives in digital transactional finance and digital healthcare, driving operational excellence and innovation.
Pinank J. Shah
Executive Director
Pinank Shah is the Group CFO and CEO of DFL. Before joining DFL, he led the Treasury function at Indiabulls Housing Finance for six years and earlier spent close to a decade at HDFC Limited across retail lending, corporate finance, and risk management roles. He holds a Master’s degree in Management Studies (Finance) from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.
Akhil Kumar Gupta
CEO – Transerv & Head of Operations
Akhil brings nearly 20 years of extensive experience across reputed organisations including Indiabulls, Moserbaer, Ramco, ICICI Bank, and Luminous. During his 14-year association with Indiabulls, he managed several mission-critical roles, including Head of Operations for retail and corporate mortgage loans. His expertise spans Finance, Treasury, Operations, and Call Centre management. Akhil is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from Birla Institute of Management and Technology.
Amit R. Gandhi
Head – Collections
Amit Gandhi leads the Collections function at Dhani Loans and Services Limited. With over two decades of experience across Risk, Strategy, Business, and Collections, he has handled secured, unsecured, and digital lending products. He has been associated with Dhani for the past four years and has previously worked with Indiabulls Housing Finance, Standard Chartered, and Xerox. Amit is a Commerce graduate from Delhi University and holds a PGDMA in Sales & Marketing from NIS, Delhi.
Gaurav Mehrotra
Vice President – Engineering
Gaurav Mehrotra, an IIT Delhi alumnus (B.Tech, 1999), heads the engineering team for DFL’s stock brokerage platform and leads its digital transformation initiatives. With over 20 years of experience in product development, financial risk management, and operational optimization, he has held senior technology leadership roles at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and JP Morgan’s Wealth Management division.
